Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Freezr mobile app (package
si.smartklik.freezr) and related services. The service provider is
Smartklik, computer programming and consulting, Marko Lovrić s.p.
(“provider”, “we”, “us”). By using the app you enter into an agreement with the provider
and accept these terms and our
Privacy Policy.
1. Service provider

Company registration no.: 7508417000 · VAT ID: SI91312434

2. Description of the service
Freezr is a home food inventory app (freezer, fridge, pantry). Basic inventory works without an account and is stored locally on your device. Cloud sync, shared households, and advanced features require an account and (except for the free trial) an active Pro or Business subscription.
3. Plans and pricing
Local use (Free plan) is free. Indicative prices for paid plans on this website:
- Pro — €2.49 / month or €19.99 / year
- Business — €9.99 / month or €89.99 / year
The final price (including any taxes charged by Google) is always shown in the app and on Google Play at checkout. As the service provider we are a VAT taxpayer (ZDDV-1); VAT on consumer sales via Google Play is charged by Google Ireland Limited as merchant of record. Prices may change according to the in-app or Google Play listing with prior notice. Pro includes a 14-day free trial if you have not used a trial before.
4. Subscription, payment, and in-app purchases
Paid subscriptions are purchased only in the mobile app via Google Play (in-app purchases). This website does not accept card payments and does not sell subscriptions directly.
- Merchant of record is Google Ireland Limited (Google Play). Google Play terms and policies also apply. We provide the Freezr digital service; payment processing, billing, and receipts are handled by Google.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) and are charged via your saved Google Play payment method until you cancel.
- 14-day free trial (Pro): If you confirmed a payment method in Google Play when starting the trial, the selected subscription (monthly or yearly) is charged automatically after 14 days unless you cancel the trial before it ends. If you do not start a trial or cancel in time, the app reverts to the free Free plan (sync and paid features stop; local data on device remains).
- Receipts: Payment confirmations and transaction history are provided by Google Play (e.g. email from Google, Subscriptions & orders in Play Store, or play.google.com/store/account). We do not issue separate invoices for in-app purchases.
- When a subscription expires, sync stops; local data on the device remains.
- For refunds, billing disputes, and payment issues, contact Google Play support first.
5. Cancelling a subscription
Cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions or your device settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. For help, email support@freezr.smartklik.si.
6. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Under EU consumer law, consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts without giving a reason.
For digital content or digital services not supplied on a physical medium that begin immediately after purchase, you may lose this right if you:
- explicitly consent to immediate performance before the withdrawal period ends, and
- acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal as a result.
You typically confirm this consent in the Google Play purchase flow (checkbox / terms confirmation). By activating Pro or Business features immediately after purchase or after a trial, you are deemed to have consented to immediate performance. For ongoing subscriptions, cancel in Google Play (see section 5); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and does not refund an already paid period unless Google Play terms or mandatory law provide otherwise.
7. Account and household
- Create an account with a valid email and secure password.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- The household owner manages the subscription, invite codes, and (on Business) data export.
- Household members see synced inventory according to the plan.
8. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including:
- unauthorized access to other households or data,
- bypassing payment limits,
- automated data harvesting without permission,
- use that overloads infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate sync access for violations.
9. Intellectual property
The app, Freezr brand, UI, and code belong to the provider or licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal (or business, on Business) use under these terms. Inventory content you enter remains yours.
10. Limitation of liability
We provide the service with reasonable care. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect expiry reminders, or sync. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits, or data loss due to user error, device failure, or third-party services (Google, Firebase, Open Food Facts). For paid services, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last year. This limitation does not apply only if we caused damage intentionally or through gross negligence.
11. Cookies and this website
This website is static and does not use tracking cookies. The app may use Firebase Analytics — see the Privacy Policy.
12. Complaints, ADR, and the EU ODR platform
For complaints about the app, contact support@freezr.smartklik.si. For payment and refund issues, also contact Google Play.
Alternative dispute resolution (ADR): We do not recognize any ADR body for out-of-court consumer dispute resolution. We nevertheless handle complaints in good faith and aim to resolve issues directly with users.
EU consumers may lodge complaints with their local supervisory authority. We are required to publish the link to the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You may file a complaint there; for payment disputes Google is often the relevant party.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your EU country of residence also apply where required. Courts in Kranj, Slovenia have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date will be shown on this page. For material changes we may notify you in the app. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
